A concert featuring Irish traditional music will be held at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music on June 11.

Mick Moloney, one of Ireland’s most renowned traditional musicians and musicologists, will be onstage with fellow Irish musicians Michelle Mulcahy, Louise Mulcahy, Athena Tergis and Irish dancer Niall O’Leary and together with students of the municipal conservatory of music.
They will perform Irish popular songs by music instruments such as uilleann pipes, harp, fiddle, guitar and octave mandolin, accompanied by the dazzling dancing by Niall O’Leary, the World Champion of Irish step dance..
The artists will present a hugely varied repertoire ranging from traditional Irish tunes several hundred years old to beautiful music written by contemporary composers, and a unique collaboration of Irish and Vietnamese musical styles.
Mick Molone is teaching Irish Studies Program of New York University’s Glucksman Ireland House.
