The European Music Festival 2010 will bring colorful concerts to the audience in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from November 26 through December 4.

The festival which will be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City is a part of the cerebrations of the 20th anniversary of the European and Vietnam relations and an excellent example of important public diplomacy exchanges in the EU and Vietnam relationship.
The event, co-organised by the EU delegation in Vietnam and five EU member embassies, including Belgium, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain, will feature 22 European musicians, embracing classical music, jazz, world music and pop. Several Vietnamese artists will also perform at the festival.
The festival is one of the most expected annual music events in Vietnam.
About 22 leading European artists from Belgium, Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Spain will perform in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The audiences will have chance to enjoy performances such as classical, world and jazz.
In the opening night, ten-member German jazz band Tharichens Tentett will bring performances of blended traditional and modern style jazz to the Hanoi stage, and Spanish musician Pablo Diaz-Reixa will be highlight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnamese saxophonist Quyen Van Minh and drummer Le Quoc Hung will join the event. Le Quoc Hung will perform with a famous Jazz trio Fabien Degryse, while Quyen Van Minh will join the leading Dutch saxophonist– Yuri Honing.
